Add a Vehicle
In this lesson: Add a vehicle with its group, garage, capacity, engine, VIN, registration, mileage and amenities.

Step 1: Open a new vehicle
Click the plus icon and choose New Vehicle.

Step 2: Enter the vehicle basics
Enter a vehicle name, set the status to Active, pick the vehicle group to assign it to and select the garage where the vehicle is stored.

Step 3: Describe the vehicle
Add the brand and model, then select the model year, color and passenger capacity.

Step 4: Add the technical details
On the right-hand side, select the engine type and tracking device, and add the VIN, registration number, purchase mileage, current mileage and production date.

Step 5: Add a description and amenities, then save
Optionally add a vehicle description and pick amenities from the right-hand side, such as power outlets, then click Create Vehicle.

We're going to create a vehicle and add it to a garage and assign a vehicle group. So, first of all, you want to click on the plus icon and add new vehicle.
Once this screen is displayed, enter a vehicle name. Set the status to active. Pick a vehicle group you want to assign it to. Select the garage where the vehicle is stored. Vehicle brand, vehicle model. Select the model year, color, and passenger capacity.
Once you've done this, move over to the right hand side. Select the engine type. Let's say select diesel. Tracking device, none. VIN number we want to add and the registration number. Also add the purchase mileage. Now the current mileage and the production date.
You can also add a vehicle description. And if you want to add amenities, you can add amenities from the right hand side. For example, let's use power outlets. And now we can create vehicle to save the record.
